NaplesTechPro Privacy Policy

Privacy, explained clearly

This policy explains what information NaplesTechPro may receive through the website, how that information is used, and where third-party services process information independently.

The goal is practical transparency: collect only what supports the website, communication, security, measurement, and delivery of useful resources.

01

Website measurement

Limited technical and usage information may be processed to understand site performance, audience activity, and security.

02

Direct communication

When you email NaplesTechPro, the information you choose to provide is used to understand and respond to your message.

03

Local-first products

Records saved inside local-first Operations Centers remain in the user’s browser or device unless the user exports or shares them.

Plain-language overview: NaplesTechPro does not require a visitor account to read ordinary website content. Information may be received when you contact NaplesTechPro, when standard website systems record technical activity, or when analytics tools measure use of the site. Purchases and activity on external platforms are governed by those platforms’ own policies.
Section 01

Scope and business identity

This Privacy Policy applies to the NaplesTechPro website at naplestechpro.com and its associated pages. NaplesTechPro is an educational technology website and digital-product brand based in Naples, Florida, United States.

This policy covers information processed through the website and direct communications with NaplesTechPro. It does not replace the separate privacy terms of Etsy, Amazon, Google, embedded-content providers, payment services, or other external websites and platforms.

Section 02

Information you choose to provide

The primary website contact method is email. When you contact NaplesTechPro, the information received may include your name, email address, message, attachments, product or order context, and any other details you voluntarily include.

This information is used to understand the request, respond, provide appropriate support, maintain relevant business records, protect against misuse, and improve documentation or products when appropriate.

Please do not send sensitive information by ordinary email. Do not provide passwords, recovery codes, private encryption keys, payment-card data, confidential customer records, application backups, or complete private network configurations.
Section 03

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, standard hosting, security, delivery, and analytics systems may process technical information such as:

  • Internet Protocol address and approximate geographic region;
  • browser, operating system, device type, language, and screen information;
  • pages viewed, links used, referring page, dates, times, and session activity;
  • security, performance, error, and diagnostic events.

This information supports website delivery, security, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, usability review, and improvement. NaplesTechPro does not intend to place passwords, private product records, exported backups, or complete technical configurations into analytics events.

Section 04

Cookies and Google Analytics

The site may use necessary technologies that support security and normal website operation, together with measurement technologies used to understand aggregated website activity.

NaplesTechPro uses Google Analytics 4 for site measurement. Google explains that GA4 may use first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions and may process browser, device, and on-site activity information. Google also states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies or analytics may reduce measurement accuracy but should not prevent access to ordinary informational pages.

For more information about Google’s processing, review Google’s Privacy Policy.

Section 05

External marketplaces, purchases, and affiliate links

Marketplace purchases

NaplesTechPro may link to products offered through external marketplaces such as Etsy. Checkout, payment, order delivery, marketplace messages, account activity, refunds, and related transaction information are processed by the marketplace under its own terms and privacy policy. NaplesTechPro does not receive your full payment-card details from those platforms.

Affiliate relationships

Some resource or recommendation links may be affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase, NaplesTechPro may receive a commission without increasing your purchase price. The external retailer may receive referral information and process activity under its own privacy policy.

Affiliate relationships do not determine NaplesTechPro’s technical conclusions. Relevant commercial relationships should also be disclosed near the recommendation or link where appropriate.

Section 06

Local-first Operations Centers and downloadable products

Certain NaplesTechPro products are designed to run locally in a compatible web browser. Information entered into a local-first Operations Center is stored in the browser and device where the application is used rather than automatically uploaded to a NaplesTechPro cloud account.

NaplesTechPro does not receive, synchronize, monitor, or maintain a remote copy of those local application records and cannot recover locally stored records or passwords. Users are responsible for device security, browser-profile access, exported backups, and following the included backup and restore instructions.

Opening, editing, saving, or exporting a separately downloaded document may also involve software and storage providers selected by the user. Those providers operate under their own privacy and security terms.

Section 08

How information may be shared

NaplesTechPro does not sell personal information for money or rent personal mailing lists. Information may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary to:

  • operate, host, secure, measure, or maintain the website;
  • use professional service providers acting on NaplesTechPro’s behalf;
  • respond to a request or deliver appropriate support;
  • investigate misuse, fraud, security concerns, or violations;
  • comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental requests;
  • protect rights, safety, property, users, or the public;
  • support a legitimate business reorganization, transfer, or succession.

Service providers may process only the information reasonably required for the service they perform and are governed by their own agreements and legal obligations.

Section 09

Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, including communication, support, recordkeeping, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.

Email correspondence may be retained while a request remains relevant and afterward when needed for support history or legitimate records. Hosting logs, security data, and analytics information are retained according to configured settings and provider practices. Information no longer reasonably required may be deleted, anonymized, or allowed to expire.

Section 10

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about certain processing. To submit a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request.”

NaplesTechPro may need to verify the request and may retain limited information when required for security, legal compliance, transaction records, or the protection of another person’s rights. You may also control cookies through browser settings and manage communications by requesting that further non-transactional contact stop.

Section 11

Information security

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information handled through the website and ordinary business communications. However, no website, email system, storage method, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Use good judgment when deciding what to send. Mask private technical details, avoid emailing credentials or backups, protect your own devices and accounts, and use the security controls offered by any marketplace or service you choose.

Section 12

Children’s privacy

The website and products are directed to a general and professional audience and are not intended for children under 13. NaplesTechPro does not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact NaplesTechPro so the situation can be reviewed.

Section 13

International visitors

NaplesTechPro is based in the United States. If you access the website from another country, information processed by the website or its service providers may be transferred to, stored in, or handled in the United States or other locations where those providers operate.

Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. Where applicable law provides additional rights, requests may be submitted using the contact information below.

Section 14

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the website, products, forms, analytics configuration, cookie practices, affiliate relationships, external marketplaces, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when a material update is published.

Review this page periodically if you want to remain informed about current practices.
